HEALING SPACES: Calm Yourself / Energize Yourself

When our nervous systems get stuck in patterns of high overdrive (anxiety, fear, etc.) or shutdown (depression, chronic fatigue, etc.), we need simple, accessible practices at hand that can stimulate the cycle of rebalancing - of calming ourselves or energizing ourselves. 

This workshop will take you through steps to recognize, stimulate, and reset your own patterns: 

  • Recognize your own nervous system’s physical/mental/emotional cues

  • Stimulate calming responses (breath, movement, meditation)

  • Stimulate energizing responses (breath, movement, meditation)

  • Reset with a soundbath savasana

Bring a journal, yoga mat, and any props that you need to sit/lie comfortably
